Learn why risotto isn't difficult — it just needs love, the right technique, and a few insider tricks you won't find on the back of a packet.

Every session, we will be making and eating:

😍Risotto alla Milanese — the most traditional of them all, with saffron (and optional sausage for the meat lovers)
😍Mushroom Risotto — earthy, rich, and deeply satisfying
😍Radicchio with Taleggio or Pea and Pancetta — a seasonal choice, both utterly delicious

Well. THAT happened. 🖤🥂

Prohibition Parlour made its debut at Il Salotto last night and what an absolute ball it was. The food from Blas was, as ever, completely out of this world — and Speakeasy Sounds ’s live band had the whole room going. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better night.

A huge, enormous, heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us. Seeing you leave happy (and perhaps just a tiny bit merry 😄) at the end of the evening was everything.

This is just the beginning. Watch this space. ❤️

Prohibition Parlour: Where world-class jazz meets exceptional food🎷👨‍🍳.

Opening night of our new event Prohibition Parlour has an incredible start. With Speakeasy Sounds presenting us with the wonderful Paul Paterson Trio, for a fantastic live Gypsy Jazz Performance. Take a trip with the performers to 1930s Paris with this vibrant, fast-paced style of jazz. Joined by Ali Affleck, an award-winning jazz singer who has performed across the globe.

This soulful evening of jazz is delicately paired with a fine dining experience provided by the talented Darren Morton of Blas Dining. A luxurious five course meal to accompany an entertaining evening.

This is a sophisticated, and unique evening that you certainly don't want to miss!
