🌊🧶 The “leftovers” Valentina Shawl is finished! 🧶🌊
I tried to take some pictures outside, but it was SO windy that I had to anchor the shawl with a few stones… otherwise, it would have ended up flying straight into the Irish Sea! 😂
I’m really pleased with how it turned out, and I love how all these colours have come together. ❤️

I haven’t quite managed a “This is me” post yet (although I’ve seen some really lovely ones!!), but I did say before that I was going to give you a little tour of my studio in the lovely Ayrshire coast …
So… here we go! 🧶✨
It’s my little happy place, where all the yarn lives, ideas happen, and probably far too much time is spent faffing with colours! 😂

Good morning 😊 back in Scotland.. I said I was going to open my parcel gorgeous parcel from as soon as I got home, so yes, here we go! 😂

The video is pretty pedestrian (I really need to invest in one of those phone stands so I don’t have to hold the phone while I’m recording!), but it doesn’t really matter. No editing, no fuss , just as if you were here with me in the studio. 🥰 ,maybe that would’ve been better as you could have done the recordings 🤣…
Now the challenge is I need to stop faffing with the new yarn and get my luggage and the house back in gear! 😂 do you hate unpack after a long trip? I really do… 😩😩😩

As you’ve probably already seen, quite a few of those lovely Stylecraft Big Boxes have been arriving! My husband sent me a picture ( a bit blurry..)of a rather gorgeous big parcel… and it looks like my box has arrived too! 😍

I can’t wait to get home and see all the new yarn! Just under a week to go now .. I can’t wait! 🧶❤️ thank you Stylecraft !!!

Wet and miserable on the Ayrshire coast … the perfect excuse to spend the day in the studio. I came across this quote this morning and it really resonated with me. I don’t know whether I can call myself an artist, but I do know that I put my heart into everything I create. Happy Sunday! ❤️🧶✨
