Someone split oil in the brook by our garden!!! You can't see it in this picture just a kind of glossy sheen but a couple of moor hens had it on their coats. I have put out great tubs of water and food along the bank but can't think what else to do. Paul rang the environmental agency who said they will send someone out ...if ...they think its important enough! The thing is this brook is home to so much wildlife and fish. Normally it is beautifully clean and clear. I'm sure the spill has been by mistake but it seems to keep coming.

UPDATE the Environment Agency Maidenhead and Thames Water came straight away and take it very seriously. They are looking for the source now trying to stop the flow...YAY. Meanwhile put out freshwater for the birds. 😀

Day 1 of the Artist Challenge. I was nominated as Randa Magid by Janna Halme to present a picture of my work for 10 days. No explanation needed - and then nominate another artist to do the same - 10 images - 10 nominations - 0 explanations! The goal is to promote positivity, passion and attention to our love of art.

We have been renovating a house in Somerset for the last few years. We have some photos back from the Estate Agents and I am so WOWed I thought I might share them, with the odd before and after. Renovating the house has been an amazing but a difficult journey and it has been suggested I should write a blog. Which I will attempt to do, with some things we have learnt along the way and links to the workers who have helped us. I would also like to add a few things about the village. When it is up and running I will let you know. But for now you can have a peak and think, thank goodness we didn't go through that...🤣
