Right folks, we need some sparkle, please, and I know you can provide.

I’m very lucky to know lots of you on a semi-personal basis. We often exchange tidbits about our lives and I’m honoured that sometimes you choose to confide in me about the more raw and emotional things that are going on. I know that several of you right now are dealing with some life sh*te, including but not limited to:

I’m proud of how this turned out!

This gorgeous vintage necklace has been fully restored and restrung as it was in a bad way when I found it. The original beads remain, but it’s had new bead caps (that are a near identical match to the originals) and the addition of some small bicolour beads to complement the original large bicolour crystals. With the exception of the clasp, all metal has been replaced as it was badly corroded.

It measures 18” long and is such a pretty piece - these kinds of beads glow in the sunlight so it’s sure to turn heads wherever it’s worn. Unusually, this necklace also had some opaque round beads alongside the crystals, and I’ve kept them together to keep it as true to its original design as possible.

An ideal Christmas present for someone special, including yourself 😘

Haha this just came up on my memories…one year ago today. The irony that I am currently sat in bed repairing vintage jewellery 😅

Available: A Samuel Reich ‘Viktoria’ jadeite butter dish!

These are REALLY hard to find! I’ve scoured the internet and other than a drawing in the 1934 catalogue, I can only find one in regular uranium glass, so this jadeite version is a veritable hen’s tooth! It has the ⁠fabulous glow synonymous with uranium jadeite, and measures 18x14x9.5cm.

Samuel Reich’s Viktoria pattern was very popular, and is more commonly found in trinket sets. Thanks to its popularity the factory made table pieces in the same design, hence the butter dish - article #4789 in the catalogue.

I’m letting this one go for a bargain price because it has two imperfections; one fleabite to the end of the lid, and a small (nearly invisible) fracture stemming from the scalloped detail on the edge of the dish. Both are totally stable and have been shown in the photographs, but please do ask if you’d like to see more.
