It’s always fun to do something new and a humidor has been on my list for a while. Afew years ago this was just a rotting oak stump, I cut some sections out with the chainsaw and forgot about it until now.

Surrey Timbers Ltd saved me on this one by having Brazilian cedar & purple heart in stock and on short notice.

As always the finish is from Vinniesoil_Europe.

This job spiralled out of control and I love it. It started with a conversation about a rustic vanity…. Somehow we ended up here.

No shortcuts were taken, I took dull sawmill blades and bent a-few teeth to accentuate the rough sawn look especially on the beam.

Sometimes you’d think rustic is easy because things don’t need to be perfect however that does make challenges when it comes to joints, you need them clean and seamless even if the rest is rough and undulating.

To complement the rustic look everything was finished with Vinniesoil_Europe dark upo, with a top coat of eternal seal to add as much protection as possible.

Hey guys, just wanted to take a moment to say please bear with us for the next few weeks, months, however long 😂. As a lot of you know it’s hard to balance social media, work and personal life. I’m in the middle of full house renovations, some big work projects and everything that goes with it. If I’m quiet that just means I’m being loud somewhere else. I’m not going anywhere and I’m still taking orders, I just probably forgot to get the camera out and film any of it.
I’m very grateful for the support you guys give me and I take inspiration from a lot of you, especially as I go through re designing our house. So don’t go anywhere, stay tuned, as soon as I have more time I’ll be back better than ever.

Lovely table runner that was delivered the other day. I had a lot of fun with this one and it made me realise how many options there are with a product like this.
I struggled like mad to get good photo, the sun was beaming and could I find an angle without loads of glare, nope I couldn’t 😂.

It’s a great option if you’re not looking to spend £££££ but still want to bring something bright and personalised into your living space.
