Is 100m² a large area? What about 200m²… or even 300m²?
Now imagine 450m² — impressive, isn’t it?
That’s the total area of herringbone flooring we recently installed for a valued client in Castleford.
This project required extensive subfloor preparation, including multiple repairs, joint levelling, and the application of a self-levelling compound to achieve a perfectly smooth concrete surface.
We installed the flooring seamlessly throughout the entire property, exactly as the client requested — with no interruptions at doorways or hallways. The project covered 230m² on the first floor and 220m² on the ground floor, resulting in a flawless, continuous finish.
Once installation was complete, we applied a protective coat of varnish to enhance durability and longevity.
In addition, we reinstalled over 400 linear metres of skirting boards, which had been carefully removed and cleaned prior to fitting. We also created smooth, level transitions between the wooden flooring and tiled areas, ensuring a consistent finish throughout.
A standout feature of this project was the bespoke stage we designed and built in the cinema room, complete with integrated side lighting — adding both function and visual impact.
The clients were delighted with the final result and kindly left us an outstanding review.
