Long before we were Little Hummingbird Events we were “You Said Yes Wedding Planning & Events”

Organising events and weddings up + down the country. Large, small, stately home weddings and ones inside barns! In fact anything any size or type. If you could dream it we could deliver it.

It was only when I was recovering from being in a coma, laid up and learning to walk again that I decided to rebrand the business to the name we are now. I mean what else is a girl to do whilst laid up!!!

Planning weddings and giving people the most important day of their lives feels so good. Whether you need planning 2-3 yrs ahead, on-the-day coordination, or just have no idea where to start, we can do it all.

The biggest problem with the wedding industry is that if you don't know what you're doing - and most people won't as it's something never done before - it's easy to get fleeced with prices skyrocketing and budgets growing out of control.

During my recovery, I had to curtail wedding planning as it takes all your time, energy and mind to do it to an exacting standard. Now my recovery is complete and I've spent the last 3 years opening the retail arm of my business, The Hummingbird Collective, it's time to return to something that is my passion - giving couples the day they dream of on the budget they have without it spiralling out of control.
