Friday was a good day and I popped down to see Fiona and pick up some gorgeous tulips that look like baby cabbages so cute with big floppy heads.

Had a fantastic day yesterday at thanks so much for popping by even though the weather was horrid, sort it out Dave!

Back to throwing today, not side plates but large flower jugs for an order.

I always have to make extra for each batch as I either batter the handle or chip the spout when it’s greenwear.

A forever favourite to make are bowls, there will be a batch of lunch bowls in the new glaze. Still no name, it’s just new biscuit atm. They will be available on Wednesday at 7pm for my shop update.

Patiently waiting on the kiln to cool today there’s a big display bowl and I’m desperate to see how it’s turned out.

🐣 S P R I N G U P D A T E 🐣

I have a new/old glaze, there has been a gap for years where my little biscuit glaze was missing. Mostly cause it was a commercial glaze and they stopped making it.

It’s not exactly the same which is a good thing, I aim to keep tweaking it as I go along. I’m excited to see what I can do with it. There will a batch of pieces glazed in this some varied in tone and some more simple.

The shop will go live at 7pm on Wednesday the 25th of March, save this as a reminder! Newsletter subscribers will be able to shop an hour earlier with a password entry. (So excited as never used to do this)

Also I think it needs a new name?

Bye bye 2025, thank you for all the lessons. You’re not really sure how much has gone on in till you look back through photos.

Here’s to 2026 with a working kiln and not having to move for a while.

I’ll look forward to making more for you this year. Thank you to everyone that has purchased from me big or small, said kind words, helped and shared how the pots add memories to your daily moments. 🖤

Oh it’s windy outside but don’t worry you can cosy up inside and have a browse through the shop. I’ll be adding more pieces over December too. Hope you find something you like and thank you for supporting indie this Christmas!

Last market of the year even though I’ve only done 2. The kiln is back up and running thank f**k! Brenda (my kiln) birthed this yesterday so she’s coming on the Glasgow train with me tomorrow to add to the goodies I have for you.

It’s the biggest vase I’ve fired yet, 27 cm tall 23cm wide, centrepiece, works with or without dried blooms. I have another big sis but she’s drying.
