t’s all happening at once.

Our daughter’s baby is due on Tuesday, Mum is coming home from respite, and we’re gearing up for the inaugural antiques fair at Larchfield Estate.

Amongst it all, we’re gathering a wonderful mix of furniture, paintings and decorative antiques for our stand.

Larchfield, here we come.

36 drawers. One extraordinary piece of history.

A remarkable 19th-century bank of artist’s drawers, from an artist’s studio in Bath.

All original, with 36 individual drawers and the most wonderful time-worn painted surface. Layers of soft blue and grey have naturally worn away over the years, revealing the warm tones of the original timber beneath.

A fabulous working piece with incredible character and presence — the sort of untouched surface that simply cannot be recreated.

A real statement piece and one of our favourite finds.

Available at The Old Courthouse, Greyabbey.

A rather fabulous pair of bronze greyhounds.

Beautifully modelled with their characteristic long, elegant lines and wonderfully expressive faces. The dark bronze patina gives them a particularly striking sculptural quality.

A handsome decorative pair and a great statement on a console, sideboard or either side of a fireplace.

Newly arrived at The Old Courthouse

The excitement is building for The Great Antiques Fair . Today I had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful Larchfield Estate to join in on a photo opportunity with a couple of items we will be bringing along. It was lovely to meet Lynn and Joanne who are working very hard organising it all.
We look forward to seeing you on the 26th and 27th September.
