It was great to see The King visiting Grimsby today…

Although we are still not entirely sure why he stopped off at Bed Centre Grimsby first 😅

Mark insists they had a very productive discussion about mattresses, headboards and the refurbishment.

His Majesty’s official version of events may differ slightly.

And before anybody asks…

No, Mark wasn’t invited to Buckingham Palace.

But he does need to bring the wife back before he makes a decision.

A slightly worrying moment this morning… 😳

We looked out of the showroom window and saw our car park full of people.

For a few seconds we thought everyone in Grimsby had suddenly decided they needed a new bed at the same time! 👀

Turns out our car park is the emergency assembly point for Freshney Place, and they were carrying out a fire alarm drill. 🚨

At least we now know where to find everyone if we ever need a focus group for mattresses! 😂
