OUR FIRST EVER CINEMA!

12 years ago we built this fantastic room!

We have just been back to upgrade the projector to a JVC DLA NZ9 and add an Arcam AVR 30.

Stunning picture on a Screen Research motorised masking screen and awesome sound from a 7.2 Procella package.

As always, perfectly automated using a bespoke Crestron iPad app and Lutron Homeworks lighting control system!

Presenting PROJECT “W” in all its glory. 4 months of hard work for the team created this stunning 10 seater cinema room.

The first ever European installation of the Barco Freya+ bouncing off a 4.2m wide DT masking screen!

The whopping sound stage is powered by a Trinnov Altitude 32 and Meridian DSP 750’s in a high powered Dolby Atmos DTSX & Auro array.

This provides a mind blowing 11.8.8 configuration.

Fortress motorised and fully reclinable leather seats finish this room to the highest standard.

Fully automated using Crestron remotes and touchscreens combined with the newest Lutron QSX lighting control system.

What more could you ask for?

Project W…Colour change LED halo that can select any colour at the press of a button. Lutron DMX controller and Crestron remote essential to this impressive effect!

DAY MODE v NIGHT MODE…

Subtly hidden in the ceiling are a Future Automation PD 2.5 motorised projector lift and a 3m wide Screen Research motorised screen.

With a beautiful bright and airy space you need to transform the room from “daytime” TV mode to “night-time” time movie mode.

This stunning image is projected onto the screen that drops down in front of the wall mounted TV. With a clever HDMI handover the TV image is switched to the projector at the push of a button from the Crestron remote.

PROJECT W’s ENGINE ROOM! The first installation of the Barco Freya+ in Europe! This is the Formula 1 of projection! Such an amazing bit of kit deserved it’s own projection room. The mighty triple-laser light source is fired through 90 degrees using a bespoke mirror from Display Technologies. +

“PROJECT W” BEHIND THE SCREEN This impressive Meridian DSP speaker array is beautifully lit for the client to reveal the technology hidden in the room at the press of a Lutron button. 9 x Meridian DSP 750’s, 3 x Meridian DSP 720’s and 2 x DSW600 subwoofers all processed and powered by a Trinnov Altitude 32. The acoustic treatment is cleverly integrated using reflective panels from Complete Acoustic Treatment System. More to follow…

Finally! After 4 months of extremely hard work, Project “W” is complete! This stunning 10 seater cinema is the first cinema in Europe to use the Barco Freya + (in a dedicated projector room) and Meridian DSP 750’s in high power arrays. More details to follow…
