Nadia set out to rethink the footprint of her period home, swapping the kitchen and living spaces for a layout that worked harder for the family. The original arrangement was fine, but it didn't make the most of the garden views — so working with our designer Lakshmi, they shaped a light-filled, sociable space that feels connected to the outdoors all year round.

The main storage run in our St Albans Butler kitchen is designed with balance and ease in mind.
