We’ll not be in this Saturday or the following Saturday 5th September so if you’re planning to call in and collect pottery could you please message us with your initials so that we can have it ready for collection in the shop.

Thank you, the shop is open 10 till 3pm as normal x

Just look at that face 🤍 we have had a fab day today, big thanks to everyone of you who popped in, made lovely comments about our shop, made a purchase, followed us, photographed our list of workshops & sent lovely comments about the autumnal colours creeping onto the shelves.

To those who came to the wheel tasters it was lovely to hear so much laughter and that’s what it’s all about … not taking it too seriously and just enjoying yourself.

I’ve been feeling a little tired and “all consumed” with things recently. My brain doesn’t seem to want to stop making mental notes of things I need to do, especially for the shop and I’ve been finding it hard to switch off!

So I spent my weekend being creative hoping that some down time will help.
I joined our Sea glass Jewellery workshop with Lindsay from bench_box and made a fab bracelet, ring and keyring on Saturday afternoon.
Then painted my drawing of Eilean Donan Castle at our watercolour class guided by artist Ian Nicholas on Saturday evening.

Sunday was spent at the lovely From Loft to Loved painting candles with Katy from What Katy Did Next and this was the perfect way to relax for a few hours.

It’s not often we take time for ourselves and it was so nice to be able to switch off while having fun and making something I’m proud of with the loveliest groups of people.

Just 2 places left on this lovely Sea glass jewellery workshop with Lindsay from bench_box, this Saturday 15th, 12.30 till 3pm.

You can expect to make either 1 bracelet with 1 ring or between 3-6 smaller items of jewellery, such as pendants, earrings or charms. Feel free to bring your own pieces of sea glass from summer trips down at the beach if you wish to use these!

This workshop allows you to learn basic techniques and skills to create a spiral cage charm to encapsulate a piece(s) of seaglass.
Learn techniques such as basic plier skills, 'p' loops, 'eye' loops and wire wrapping to create a 'cage' to encase your seaglass.
You'll learn using copper and silver plated wires to practise before incorporating this into a link/charm for your choice of jewellery.

Suitable for beginners all materials, cake and a cuppa included - £40pp.
