The abandoned bridges of the Taurion.

It’s been an unusually dry summer in the Creuse this year and the river level is lower than I have seen it before.
This gives an opportunity to see the old bridges that were submerged when the dam was constructed at Roche Talamie and the Taurion valley flooded.

Very large French mirror with bevelled glass. Old mercury mirror plate, stamped on the back and with minor foxing.
The frame has had a repair but this does not unduly detract from the overall appearance.
