A glimpse into our first creative wellbeing session at Mixenden Activity Centre. 💕
New friendships, creative activities, plenty of conversation and lots of smiles. We're looking forward to welcoming new and returning attendees to Session 2 on Tuesday 23rd June.

What a fantastic start to our funded creative wellbeing programme at Mixenden Activity Centre!

Our first session brought together a wonderful group of people who enjoyed getting creative, chatting, learning new skills and spending time together in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

We're now looking forward to Session 2 where we'll be creating a Macramé Plant Hanger and Mosaic Coasters.

These sessions are funded by Staying Well and North Halifax Partnership and are designed to help people connect with others, improve wellbeing and enjoy trying something new.

You'll add your own embroidery, texture and creative touches to create a unique piece of artwork to display at home.

We've teamed up with Catherine Knott of The Art Lab to create something a little different.

Each Mediterranean-inspired canvas has been hand-painted especially for this workshop, ready for you to add your own stitches, texture and creativity.

You'll leave with a unique piece of artwork that's part painting, part embroidery and completely your own.
