It’s fair to say these Velux Rooflight blinds had seen better days and were beyond repair! So we stripped them out and supplied and fitted new fully functioning dual dimming and blackout blinds. Much better!

We created this large 4.8m x 3.0m Lean-to Pergola with a clear corrugated Perspex roof for a lovely repeat customer in Castlethorpe last week. They now have the undercover outdoor space they were craving.

A large crack in this shower tray had led to water leaks causing damage to the floor, rear wall and tiling. Having removed everything and let it all dry out we then set about installing a new tray, re-assembling the shower cubicle, re-tiling and sealing everything up.

A lovely family in Castlethorpe wanted their very tired front door to convey significantly better kerb appeal. So we completely stripped several layers of paint from it to take it back to the bare timber and after filling and sanding we gave it a new fresh look. In parallel the surrounding porch needed repair and repainting.

Last week was about fitting new exterior doors. Conveniently these neighbours in Hartwell opted for the same style and the results really lift the kerb appeal if their properties.

A job last week was to revitalise Oak flooring and worktops, particularly areas that had been affected over the years by water damage. Having sanded everything back to natural wood we then applied 3 to 4 coats of satin varnish to bring out the grain and provide many more years of protection.
