My background as a Buyer and Sustainability Specialist, working for John Lewis & Partners for 25 years influenced my love of Interiors. I have always worked on projects for myself and others, which ultimately led me to study with The Interior Design Institute to gain my diploma. Inspired by na

ture, my design philosophy centres around creating calm, harmonious spaces, designed with simplicity, natural materials and using warm tones. This month I am celebrating four years of Earth Interiors! 🥂
I am delighted to have got to this point. It’s been quite a journey, with plenty of highs and some challenges along the way. Over the last four years, I’ve worked on all sorts of projects, from new builds and full renovations to helping clients transform individual rooms in their homes. I love the variety of what I do and the fact that no two projects or clients are ever the same.

When I started Earth Interiors, I wanted to build a business on the foundations of trust, honesty and transparency. Those principles are still as important to me today, along with encouraging more sustainable choices and creating homes that support the wellbeing of the families living in them.

But probably the thing I’m most proud of is the personal service I’m able to offer. I genuinely love getting to know my clients, understanding how they live and what they want from their homes, and then helping bring it all together.
I feel very lucky to be doing something I love, and a huge thank you to all my clients for trusting me with your homes.
This little film tells a bit more of my story and why I started Earth Interiors.
If there’s one thing I’ve learnt over the last four years, it’s that it’s never too late to make a change, dream big, work hard and have faith.

The best design decisions are often the ones you never notice… until they’re missing.
💡 Have you thought about your lighting and electrical plan yet?
When you’re renovating, it’s easy to focus on kitchens, bathrooms and finishes, but one of the most important decisions happens right at the start.

Where will you charge your phone? Do you want bedside pendants instead of table lamps? Should your kitchen lighting work differently for cooking, dining and entertaining? Is there lighting to highlight artwork, or enough sockets where you actually need them?
These are all things I consider when creating a lighting and electrical plan for my clients.
It gives your builder and electrician clear instructions before first fix, helping to avoid costly changes and ensuring your home doesn’t just look beautiful, it works seamlessly for you.

It’s one of those details you’ll rarely notice when it’s done well… but you’ll notice every day if it hasn’t been thought through.

It was such a pleasure to return to my clients’ home in Harpenden to photograph the finished renovation. Seeing a project fully complete and happy clients is always incredibly rewarding.

The design was carefully considered around modern family life, creating a variety of spaces to gather, relax and unwind. The expansive kitchen and dining area is flooded with beautiful natural light through the large glazed doors, we created a calming palette of soft neutrals, earthy greens and warm terracotta brings warmth, balance.

It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Alan from AJK Productions this week. I asked Alan to help capture the story behind Earth Interiors through a series of videos, and the experience has been fantastic.

With a wealth of experience in television and film production, including numerous commissions for the BBC, Alan brought incredible expertise, creativity and professionalism to the project.

London 2026 🙌🙌 you delivered !
What an awesome day to complete the London marathon !!
The sun and crowds were out in full. It is the culmination of 8 months of training , injury , physio and the beauty of running !
This is by far one of the most fantastic and challenging things I have ever done !
It’s overwhelming and totally inspiring to see so many people run to help others.
I’m proud to say I’ve raised £ 4231 for Alzheimer’s Research, an amazing charity, doing everything they can to find a cure. Thank you Alzheimer’s Research for letting me run for you and for looking after us so well 🙏

Today is World Earth day!
One of the founding principles of Earth Interiors was to design with intent, being mindful of “Being kind to people and our planet”
Behind the scenes I’m incorporating these principles naturally for my clients, designing for longevity, naturally and with wellbeing in mind. Here’s some of the considerations when designing a Scheme :

*Wellbeing - Creating healthier non toxic spaces
*Designing for longevity, standing the test of time
* Reusing & Refurbishing, breathing new life into existing products
* Collaborating with partners who share our values
* Using natural and responsibly sourced materials

It seems apt that I heard this week that I will curating the Interiors for a new Passivhaus project this year, I’m so excited to get started …
