Last week I had a sneaky couple of days out, the first was to celebrate my 25 th wedding anniversary and we went to Petersham Nursery and a wander round Richmond .

Days like this are so special, I love Richmond and discovered a wonderful yarn shop after a delicious lunch .

I have had such a great week, I was feeling totally overwhelmed by work and am now feeling like my bucket has been filled , and can start feeling creative again.

I love nothing more than a bit of interior faffing! Or shopping your home, but it’s basically moving things around to give them a fresh look, rather than buying new. What’s not to love.

Wow it’s hard to believe this day was 25 years ago , such a lovely day. We created the whole event ourselves along with our family , turning a dirty empty barn into a wedding venue was not easy, all on a shoestring . Everything was home made and friends and family all pitched in to make it a special day. I remember sobbing the night before that I was too exhausted to get married 😂. So many people said it was the best wedding they’ve been to , so that was a great compliment and a wonderful day I shall never forget. Happy anniversary Nick xx

How do you unwind at the end of the day?

Mine often involves a bit of knitting or some kind of creative project, usually with a G&T in hand. 🍸🧶

I’ve also been loving the products from .co lately. I like that they’re natural and genuinely calming. I use several of their products, but if I had to pick a favourite, it would probably be the Sleep Spray – it’s become part of my evening routine.

We’ve been working on this teen boys room for the last couple of months, and it’s finally coming together. He was a huge reader so we had to incorporate lots of book shelves into a very tricky space.

Teens can be one of my trickiest clients, but luckily this one seems very happy with his new space.

What amazing weather for a Bank holiday, we’re off to Abba Voyage today so excited for that, but dumped the dressing up as so hot. 🥵

Burwash manor is a great day out, we had been before but it’s 5 mins from a job I’m working on. So I’ve had the opportunity to go a few times now.
