Thank goodness it’s nearly the weekend. Love my job but wow it can be stressful at times!

So many issues behind the scenes going on that need attention with deliveries going wrong, delays etc. such a wind up.

What’s everyone up to this weekend ?

I do love a bit of panelling and I feel it is definately here to stay. It’s such a great way to elevate a space and create interest to any room.

What are your thoughts on panelling ?

Everyone keeps asking if AI will replace interior designers.

Not mine.

AI can’t take measurements, meet contractors, manage a project, chase suppliers, place orders, solve problems on site, or make sure everything comes together exactly as planned.

It can help generate ideas, and I use it all the time. But the real value is everything that happens behind the scenes to turn those ideas into a home that actually works.

AI is a tool. It isn’t replacing experience.

This is so true… I have totally fallen out of love with insta lately and my last post got 2 comments both from my fam 🙈😂

This was the hottest day of the year and it just didn’t look how I intended but here you go , as I can’t face wasting it! We literally sweated buckets and couldn’t even see what we were filming 😂😂

Anyone else relate ? Why do they make it soooo hard ?

The biggest reasons people put off hiring an interior designer…

Over the years I’ve noticed the same concerns come up again and again, so if you’ve ever thought about working with a designer but haven’t taken the leap, this might reassure you.

“It’s too expensive.”
A good designer can often save you money by helping you avoid costly mistakes, making the most of your budget and giving you access to trade suppliers.

“I don’t even know where to start.”
Renovations can feel overwhelming. My job is to guide you through the process, making decisions in the right order so everything runs as smoothly as possible.

“I’m not sure what my style is.”
You don’t need to know. Most people simply know what they like when they see it. Together we’ll uncover your style and create a home that feels completely you.

If one of these concerns has been holding you back, I’d love to hear from you. Which one resonates most? Let me know in the comments, or send me a message if you’d rather chat privately.

This audio made me smile, I love being self employed but it is never been the easy choice . The sheer weight of being in charge , the ups and downs of work and how hard it is to take a holiday. Small businesses charges are crazy and now I hear the government are thinking of making self employed pay tax every month!

This weather is a reminder that curtains and blinds aren’t just about how a room looks. They can make a real difference to how it feels too.

Keeping them closed on the sunny side of the house during the hottest part of the day helps stop heat building up, making your home much more comfortable.

Another reason to invest in beautiful bespoke curtains and blinds.

Such a lovely week away with the fam. Puglia is beautiful and it was so nice to have some down time in the sunshine with my crazy lot. Fascinated by the gorgeous Trulli and the history behind them and thoroughly enjoyed exploring this part of Italy.

Have you been ?

The pantry is making a comeback… and I’m not surprised.

After years of minimalist kitchens, we’re craving practical spaces again. A well-designed pantry keeps everyday clutter hidden, makes cooking easier, and adds so much character to a kitchen.

Some trends come and go, but good storage never goes out of style. Do you remember your grandparents having one?

Would a pantry be on your kitchen wish list?
