Sleek and sculptural, this master bedroom and dressing room follow the same thread as the rest of the house - moody, sophisticated, and thoughtfully refined in every detail.

There’s a quiet sense of masculinity to this palette, with charcoal greys and bold, rich blue accents woven throughout this bespoke design. Silver inlays catch the light against the tailored upholstery, beautifully echoing the base of this sculptural chaise, while black marble tops bring a sense of understated drama and serenity.

Wall art is an effective way to introduce colour into a room, enhancing both its atmosphere and visual appeal. A carefully chosen painting or statement piece can enrich a space with depth, warmth, and character, instantly elevating even the most neutral interior. Who says you need a full renovation to achieve a transformation?

The Brief:
“Our rooms feel very dark. Reimagine our period property’s master bedroom and library with a modern twist — refreshing the spaces whilst enhancing the light and atmosphere.”

So, we did just that.

Master Bedroom
The deep maroon carpet was replaced with a soft willow green colour, instantly lifting the space. The window treatments were key and became a defining feature; heavy pole-wrap curtains were restricting the natural light. Instead, we introduced roman blinds paired in a palette of creams, teals and petal pinks, with quiet detailing through the use of botanical prints and braids. The results are serene and uplifting.

Bespoke Upholstery
Hand crafted sofas, chairs and ottomans were designed in a considered mix of bold patterns and plush textures, adding visual interest whilst honouring the property’s original charm.

Reading Room
It was important to design a reading chair that balanced both form and function - generous in comfort, sculptural in silhouette. Our ‘Alexandra’ high-back chairs provide comfort, elegance and presence. Retaining the original characterful bookcases while introducing a statement rug created a beautiful focal point, the result being a spacious yet cosy retreat — perfectly balancing classic architecture with contemporary design.

These beautiful ‘his and her’ walk-in wardrobes are elevated by custom bespoke joinery, designed to offer ample storage and timeless luxury. From open back-lit shelving and hanging spaces, to the center island with bench seating and statement pendant, every inch is crafted for a harmonious blend of elegance and functionality.
