Crumple's top tips for all those sleep-strugglers out there.
1. Use "a high-performance mattress". Thankfully, Crumple & Co has you covered. Our Luxury Mattress combines thermo-cooling memory foam, as well as 3000 pressure-relieving springs for a better, deeper sleep. It's so comfy you'll want to stay in bed for that extra five minutes in the morning, trust me - I have one myself!
2. Establishing a bedtime routine. Having a hot bath (with bubbles if you're feeling extra fancy) and chamomile tea will help you unwind. If not the most essential tip, we recommend putting your phone on airplane mode and charging it away from your bed. It's so easy to lay there, scrolling through social media and checking your emails. This just stimulates our brain instead of winding it down. So, try swapping your phone for a decent book! I have lots of suggestions so feel free to DM us (maybe together we can start a book club?!).
3. Whether it's a candle, diffuser or a spray, find an aroma that calms you. Our personal favorite is lavender. Why wouldn't you make your bedroom smell like a spa?! Afterall, it should be your own sanctuary.
4. Avoid those over-head lights, as tempting as and easy as they are. Crumple & Co has many bedside lamps to choose from instead. Each are stunning in their own way, and they create a lovely glow when turned on. Not to get all factual, but, transitioning from those ceiling lights to softer lighting (e.g. our bedside lamps) can help the body produce melatonin - our sleepy hormone.
Ultimately, at Crumple we can help you make a "sleep-inducing bedroom", which looks as good as it feels. On a more serious note, we're obviously not doctors, so please don't take these tips as bible. If you really are struggling to sleep on a daily basis do talk with a doctor. Sleep deficiency is a risk to our health, and we believe that it should be prioritized above anything else!
