We bought a beautiful log burner earlier this year which has been fitted in March. The service we received from Chris and Caroline in York was exceptional. From explaining the exact requirements for what we needed through to visiting and explaining how the log burner would look in situ. The team that fitted it were efficient and fast and the visit was followed up with a call to check all was OK. 5 star service all round!! . Thank you very much, we will definitely use Stonehouse Fireplaces again.

We visited both the Harrogate and York showrooms, in search of a particular brand of electric fire for our media wall project. The Harrogate showroom unfortunately didn’t have the fire we were interested in, so we called the York office and thankfully the fire was on display. We met the MD Chris Davison who was great and really helpful, answering all our questions. When we saw the fire we intended to purchase compared to another brand, we were blown away with the realism of the flames and the beautiful real logs option as displayed. Chris did not try to sell us anything, he simply guided us to both displays, and the other brand was a no brainer. There was no comparison in all honesty. Although more expensive than the original fire we were interested in, but not buy much, the additional cost was worth it, although due to budget constraints, we weren’t able to upgrade to the beautiful real logs option. However, this is something we can purchase later, and fit ourselves. Fab showroom, lots to see, Chris was the best, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a visit if you’re looking for a fabulous choice of electric fires. Photos to follow in due course.
