This cot that converts into a small childs bed arrived at the workshop on Friday from Wakefield.
And thanks to Tikkurila UK the paint arrived today, super fast service, all ready to start the project this coming week

This is next weeks project from Skipton.
Carcass to be painted in Grand Teton OC-132 Scuff X and the top and 2 shelves sanded and stained with woodstain and then a protective lacquer by .uk

A quick trip over to Airton and Skipton with the colour charts to meet 2 new clients to discuss their projects.

Choosing a colour for your project can be a daunting task especially where there are so many to choose from before the effect of natural and artificial lighting is taken into consideration, so its alwayd a good idea to view the charts in the room the piece of furniture is going to be situated.

Sold and now lives in a beautiful cottage in Glusburn not far from the workshop.
A bespoke piece that I created using a blend of green paint with a layer of dark wax on top to give it that aged effect and gold paint on the trims. The drawer k***s were cermaic with a crackle effect.

This huge pitch pine welshdresser is being collected today and returned to the client in Raskelf near York.
Its been another great project to have worked on as always.
There was some filling required using .uk 2 pack filler and lots of sanding using my favourite to restore years of battle scars, despite that it still retains its magnificance and i look forward to seeing pictures of it at home at some point.
It was painted using Intelligent eggshell in the colours Tuscan Red and Ferdinand

A lovely project for a returning client who wanted to bring this kitchen island back to life.
The base was painted in Scuff X Satin in Pink Moire, a lovely subtle and warm pink. Thanks to for delivering it, for the sanding pads.
The butchers block top was sanded using grits 80, 120 and 180 and then the first coat of Top Oil, Clear Matt.
