A social media catch up! Hi folks, I’m just back from a little break from social media as all the work got wrapped up and we took a little breather to prepare for a huge amount of new and short term commission pieces to process. I’m back with a completely fresh outlook. Photo is of one of the most detailed peg loom rugs we have done to date 3ft x 6ft size containing 6 wools and 6 colours

Carded alpaca, spun yarn from DK through to rug yarn, peg loom rugs, batch needle felts

We are so excited to start! Orders run as normal alongside commission batches.

Commission work is the most amazing piece of what we can do to showcase U.K. wool! The artistic layer that we can umbrella over our mill is incredible! That goes for our artistic design work in house and processing wool to enable others to bring their own or our wool into the projects.

We have quite a portfolio of achievements now in all our commission work over a wide range of designs from film sets to crafts processing to soft furnishings all customer led. Gothic, modern, historic time periods, location etc we can slant any project towards any theme. Here’s what we offer.

Good morning everyone! Time for a refresh!

Do you have something new going on? Pop your news in the comments because we are right now in between new work waves both at the mill and in our wider industry work. It’s very busy but a lot of it you have seen so many times already!

I’ve been quiet on here to start the week because there isn’t a lot of new content going on right now and I’ve got a little bored of posting the products that we send out every week if that makes sense 🤣. Taking a break and a good breather is definitely a good thing here because my mind is actually now extremely focussed on all the new and exciting work that we have and about to get to do so once it gets into the thick of it in the next few days our social media will be full of new content! Does anyone else find posting new content can be exhausting at times? I don’t like having to fish for content for the sake of it, it’s too distracting from the current processing which you’ve all seen now. I think I’d rather take a break and come in with the amazing new work we are doing and add the education onto it whilst I go.

We still have a few stunning Hebridean raw whole fleece rugs in that are perfect for this time of year.

All I can say is….. the innovation and ideas you have on some of these projects some of you want to do is absolutely INCREDIBLE. I’m so pleased to have the variety to make it all happen for you 🤩🐑🇬🇧❤️
