A beautiful floor is only as good as the prep work beneath it. For this hallway project, we went all out to make sure the finish lasts a lifetime:
1️⃣ The Setup: Started with full subfloor prep, making sure everything was dry, clean, and sound.
2️⃣ The Pour: Applied a self-leveling smoothing compound to eliminate every single dip and imperfection. A perfectly flat subfloor is the secret to a flawless LVT installation!
3️⃣ The Reveal: Finished with a gorgeous, classic herringbone LVT that brings warmth, character, and durability to the heart of the home. Spotless cuts around the stairs and a practical inset mat at the front door to keep it looking perfect.

It went from a dusty concrete canvas to a perfectly smooth, glassy screed, and now the dream floor is finally being laid down.

From rough subfloor to a mirror finish. 🪵➡️🔮

You can buy the most expensive flooring in the world, but if your subfloor isn't right, the end result won't look right either.

Today’s job was all about making this old floor good again. We used a premium self-leveling smoothing compound to bridge the gaps between rooms, fix the cracks, and create a perfectly smooth, level surface across the entire hallway and kitchen transition.
