Must say I'm quite happy with how this turned out. The pic includes another slab I have from the same log but gives a good before and after view. Not bad for a randomly collected log. Custom made spalted beech (I think) serving board, has imperfections and cracked a bit after drying for a while but looks amazing after oiling it up! Always getting better!

Been a while since I've posted but happy to have helped a mum and her little one with a couple toddler towers for her little man. He was smiling when I dropped them off so I'll take that as a good sign! Hopefully more paying projects to come! 🤞
