You either have the DIY bug or it just bugs you, either way I can help !

Like many businesses, Diybugs was born out of frustration. Have you watched one of the many interior design shows, but floundered at your first attempt to copy something that inspired you because they do not show you how to do it step by step?

This is where I come in, I have been in the building trade for many years now & have mastered much of it even as a Female. Because I am a Female i initially wanted to PROVE myself worthy of a job in the construction industry so went to college to learn as there were no short courses available, first i started an Electrical course & once we finished the lights & sockets modules we went on to electronics, capacitors & resistors etc, i had no interest in this so I asked to transfer to the Painting & Decorating course (always a favourite hobby of mine from childhood), the tutor said come tomorrow & we’ll see what stage your at, I went in the next day & said ‘I can’t actually spend the whole 2 years on this course as I had many foster children & they were often off school’, after the trial he said YES you can join us & work at your own speed, so cool, I did the whole 2 years worth in just 8 months & passed with distinctions yay! & i got their highest award that year for the effort I had put in, this was sponsored by the local Trade Paint shop & had £100 attached to it to spend in there.

Blah de Blah, then i went on to learn Plastering & much more, when i have been learning I had noticed there were not many short courses or day courses around or not everyone can access them, so now I have devised these short classes face to face & now coming online too, mainly aimed at Females as theyre the ones that need the extra encouragment.

Ladies i’d love to have you in our group where you’ll get daily trade tips & information plus a few how to videos, your also welcome to ask any questions & share your projects with us all https://www.facebook.com/groups/diybugsforfemales
