it isn't my sport to write obituaries but this experience hits home.

i was off on holiday and after coming back i went to shop at my local parker building supplies store.

i'm always looking forward to the familiar faces in there, especially my mate, Mark Howlett behind the counter, who serves me on a regular basis.

only to learn that he died shortly after i left.

he went to a festival and at some point he wasn't feeling well and retreated to his tent.
that's where his mate found him half an hour later.

he had a heart attack and couldn't have been saved.

it's never a good time to die.
he was only 57(ish).

i'll miss you mate. i'm not used to lose humans who become my acquaintances and whom i thought will be around forever.

may you rest in peace!
