At the moment it seems pointless just opening the door in the week. It is so dead!!

Yay, the week is done and Friday is dragging the weekend over the hill at last.
The little white cloud being is still rather poorly, and Miss Spoons waits anxiously for news from the Sun Witch. She has been beside herself with worry, fussing around her workshop, tidying things that need no tidying and polishing things that already sparkle.
But what will Friday bring? Is help on its way, or is something far more troublesome brewing?
Mrs Pots is away peddling her wares down at the Old Stade, happily chatting with visitors and spreading a little magic wherever she goes. Meanwhile, Miss Spoons has a nasty feeling in her boots. The trees are whispering, the crows are watching, and even the rabbits have gone strangely quiet.
Could it be that the poorly little cloud being is not quite what she seems? Has the Sun Witch uncovered a secret too dreadful to send by owl post?
Or perhaps poor Miss Spoons has simply had too little sleep and far too much worry.
One thing is certain: by the time the weekend arrives, all shall be revealed... if Miss Spoons can avoid trouble long enough to hear the news.

Miss Spoons was in such a dither.
She had carried the little white cloud creature all the way to the Sun Witch's golden tower, expecting fanfares, magic sparkles and perhaps a cup of cinnamon tea for her troubles. Instead, there had been no drama at all.
The Sun Witch had peered over her spectacles, examined the sleeping fluffy cloud, and shaken her silver-haired head.
"I'm afraid this is Moon God business," she had said. "Take this vial of golden blood. The Moon God will know the spell."
And so the cloud creature remained, tucked safely beneath a blanket woven from sunbeams while the Sun Witch waited for word from the Moon God.
Poor Miss Spoons had heard nothing since.
Not a peep.
Not a whisper.
Not even a suspiciously-shaped puff of cloud drifting past her workshop window.
The worry sat in her tummy like a lump of cold porridge.
To keep herself busy she scrubbed her workshop from top to bottom. She polished spoons that were already shining, swept corners that had never seen dust, and organised buttons according to size, colour and how likely they looked to cause mischief.
Still there was no news.
At last she tucked Spussy under one arm and set off for the Little Pink Shop.
"Mrs Pots would be mighty cross if the shop slept another day," she muttered.
And that was quite true.
Wherever Mrs Pots had vanished off to with her prince, she would certainly expect the doors to be open, the kettle to be warm and the shelves to be looking their very best.
So if you happen to wander down the mews tomorrow do pop in.
Miss Spoons could use some company while she worries.
The little white cloud creature is safe with the Sun Witch for now, sleeping peacefully beneath its sunbeam blanket.
But somewhere beyond the silver mountains, the Moon God is preparing a spell.
And if the whispering trees are to be believed, this adventure is far from over.

"Oh dear, oh dear!" said the trees, rustling their leaves in a most worried fashion. The little pink shop was dark and quiet with no miss spoons in sight.
Something strange was happening in the Enchanted Wood.
Miss Spoons, who was always far too kind for her own good, had been wandering beneath the whispering branches when the trees began murmuring secrets to her.
"A beautiful cloud creature is poorly," they sighed. "She needs help. She needs healing. Only the Sun Witch can save her."
Now Miss Spoons had a heart as soft as thistledown and could never ignore a creature in need. So when she found the delicate cloud-being drifting sadly between the treetops, she wrapped it gently in her shawl and set off at once on a quest to find the mysterious Sun Witch.
But the trees were not entirely certain about the creature.
Some whispered that it was a lovely little poochon made from silver cloud and moonbeams.
Others whispered that it might be a shape-shifter, clever and cunning, waiting for just the right moment to capture poor Miss Spoons and carry her away to some unknown land above the clouds.
The trees could not agree, and that made them rustle very nervously indeed.
Meanwhile, Mrs Pots—who usually kept everything sensible and knew exactly what ought to be done—was nowhere to be found.
She had been whisked away by her prince to a wonderful Festival of Music and Dance in a land that had arrived at the top of the Faraway Tree only that morning. There were golden fiddles playing by themselves, flowers that sang harmony, and dancers who twirled on beams of sunlight.
Mrs Pots was having such a splendid time that she was quite oblivious to Miss Spoons' possible mishap.
And so the adventure continued.
Miss Spoons journeyed onward with the mysterious cloud creature in her care, searching for the Sun Witch.
The trees watched.
The wind listened.
And somewhere high above, hidden behind the clouds, something giggled. fansAllthings SpoonInside and Garden.

So the week is done, the weekend is winding down, and us tired folk are handing the baton over to the party-goers, the birthday legends, the newly-in-love, the award winners, and those celebrating for no reason other than the fact that life feels pretty good right now.
The thing is, we don't see the world as it is — we see it as we are.
If your world feels a bit grey right now, get yourself some colouring pens and brighten that s**t up. And if you know someone whose world has gone a little monochrome, offer them a splash of colour. It doesn't take much. A smile. A kind word. A compliment. Great hair? Tell them. Beautiful eyes? Tell them. Nice shoes? Definitely tell them. Nobody has ever been upset by hearing they have excellent shoes.
For some people, though, the grey needs to stay a little longer. That's okay too. Their colouring pens are there when they're ready. Until then, keep smiling at them. Keep being kind. Sometimes hope doesn't arrive as a rainbow; sometimes it's just a faint purple haze on the horizon.
Let's remember that we're all human. We all feel. We all struggle. We all carry things nobody else can see. Imagine what love and kindness could do if we treated them like essentials instead of luxuries.
There's a place for hate, but it's certainly not aimed at another person who's just trying to get through their day. If we're going to hate something, let's hate greed. Let's hate the obsession with money and power. A lot of the world's mess seems to grow from those particular weeds.
Anyway, enough philosophy from a tired spoon.
Goodnight, sweet people. Be kind to yourselves, be kind to each other, and if all else fails, compliment someone's shoes.
Much love,
