What’s special about this one? 👀

At first glance, it’s a large white shutter installation. But the window behind it has an off-centre section, which means the shutters couldn’t simply be split evenly and fitted in the obvious way.

Louie talks through how everything was measured and planned around the actual window layout, so the shutter panels line up properly from the outside while still allowing full access to the window behind.

It’s a small detail, but exactly the kind of thing that makes made-to-measure shutters work properly in the real world.

We’ve just completed a full measure-up for this home in Maldon, covering every single window.

While the made-to-measure shutters and blinds are being produced, we’ve fitted temporary blinds at no extra cost, so the homeowners aren’t left with completely bare windows in the meantime.

This recent installation was all about working with the architecture rather than fighting it.

A little more shade, a lot more use from the garden ☀️

This recently completed awning is a great example of how you can make a patio or seating area much more comfortable through the warmer months, without permanently covering the space.

This one is fully motorised, so it can be extended or retracted at the touch of a button. We can also add sun and wind sensors, allowing the awning to respond automatically to changing conditions and retract when winds become too strong.
