With the first Half Marathon successfully ticked off, John is training hard for his next big milestone this Sunday, 14th June. We are officially at £365, meaning we’ve raised 36% of our £1,000 target. The generosity so far has been brilliant, but we need a massive push to get John over the line before race day!

We really want to hit home why every single pound matters. This challenge is entirely focused on supporting Reach Charity UK , an incredible charity that does vital work for children born with an upper limb difference. "What do I do with a box bay window?" We get asked this constantly. Unlike a standard angled bay, a box bay steps out at a sharp 90-degree right angle. It looks fantastic, but dressing it is a total headache.

If you hang heavy curtains across the front, you completely lose the side windows and swallow up the depth of the room. If you try hanging standard blinds, they awkwardly clash and gap in the corners.

The fix? You wrap the glass.

On this install, we ran the shutters continuously across the main back windows and tied them seamlessly right into those 90-degree side returns.

The result is instant architectural symmetry. Suddenly, the window looks like it was designed this way from day one. Even better, you can tilt the side panels to block out the road or the neighbours, while keeping the front panels wide open to let the daylight flood in.

Clean, sharp, and it actually gives you your windowsill back.
