Fancy doing something just for 𝘠𝘖𝘜 now the kids are back at school?

🪑 I'm running another furniture upcycling workshop at Alchemy Designs - Haverfordwest on 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, 𝟭𝟭𝗮𝗺 - 𝟯𝗽𝗺

➡️ Bring along a small piece of furniture that's crying out for a bit of attention and we'll spend the afternoon transforming it together. We'll go through all the boring-but-important prep work, painting techniques, brushes, finishes and all of the little tips and tricks I've picked up along the way!

You don't need to bring any tools or materials - I've got all of that here for you to use. You'll also get a 𝟮𝟱𝟬𝙢𝙡 𝙩𝙞𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙘 𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩 in the colour of your choice included in the price, so whatever you don't use on the day is yours to take home for the next project (because there is 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 a next project! 😆)

It's very relaxed, and you absolutely don't need to know what you're doing before you come. We'll have 4 hours so there's plenty of time to work at your own pace, have a chat, drink tea and obviously eat something sweet while we're at it ☕🍰

£𝟲𝟬 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻, which includes your Frenchic paint, use of all tools, equipment and materials, refreshments and the full four-hour workshop.

I’m keeping spaces limited so I can give everyone plenty of my time and attention.

A £𝟮𝟬 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁 secures your place, with the remaining £40 payable on the day.

𝘓𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘰𝘧 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘰𝘢𝘬 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨?

This stunning transformation was created using Frenchic's 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚 𝙙𝙚 𝙡𝙖 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚 & 𝘽𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙒𝙖𝙭 - and the result is seriously impressive!

Even better? No sandblasting required! 🙌🏻

It's one of the reasons The Beam Hack has become such a favourite with Frenchic fans ❤️

❌ SOLD ❌

♻️✨𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 – 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗚𝗢 𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗣 ✨♻️

This rather magnificent old beast needs a new home!

We’ve remodelled the shop and, unfortunately, this beautiful dresser is now 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙢𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙮.

I originally bought it with the grand plan of giving it a Frenchic makeover, but plans have changed and I simply 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙩 𝙜𝙤𝙣𝙚.

It's old, it's solid and full of character, with some lovely carved details and loads of storage. I suspect it dates from around the late Victorian/early Edwardian period, possibly around 1900, although I can't guarantee an exact date without having it properly examined.

It's a substantial piece, so please bear that in mind when collecting!

We’ll be open tomorrow (WEDNESDAY) 1–3pm instead of our usual Thursday opening 💜

We're taking Thursday off for our son’s birthday, so normal service will resume on Saturday 🎂 🎁

✨ 𝑨 𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒇𝒕𝒆𝒓 ✨

I recently had these pieces in for a bit of an update.

They belong to a local artist who has had them for years and still really loves them, but wanted them to sit a little more quietly in their rooms rather than taking over the space with their orange pine tyranny.

Being good, solid furniture, replacing them just for the sake of changing the look seemed such a shame ... So, a couple of coats of Frenchic's 𝑾𝒆𝒅𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒂𝒌𝒆 later, and they feel completely different 🤍

I kept everything simple, including the original wooden k***s, and I particularly love that you can still see those gorgeous dovetail joints - good furniture deserves to be kept, not replaced!

If you’ve got a piece at home that you love but it just doesn’t quite work anymore, I do take on furniture commissions. Or, if you fancy having a go yourself, you’re always welcome to pop in, have a look at the colours and pick my brains 😘
