This lovely 8x6 Georgian Summerhouse went all the way to Hereford. It's a 9 hours round trip from our workshop in Hawkwell which is an unusually long journey for us, but as our client was happy to pay delivery charges, we were happy to make the journey.
Our client wanted a lot of natural light inside the shed and by adding extra windows in side panels we have definitely achieved that, the extra windows also means they get to sit and enjoy this stunning view in all weathers all year round and who wouldn't want that!

So your base is solid, but it's not level?

No problem!

This 12 x 8 reverse apex shed with double doors was installed at a school in Sussex. From experience, we know a school playground is never flat so we advised our client to have a heavy duty floor frame as well, just in case.
Its a good job we did! Without the floor frame we wouldn't have been able to install this job.

We've had pleasure of building this 15' x 12'
(approx. 4.5m x 3.6m) large pent roofed shed (workshop) for a client in Benfleet.
Constructed using our thicker ex19mm (16mm finish) TGV cladding and 3x2 CLS framing (63mm x 38mm). Built to maximum legal height of 2.5m.
There is a pair of quite big joinery made doors which are 8 foot (2440mmm) wide to get bigger stuff into the workshop.
The other door is a standard 30" (760mm) joinery made door for everyday access.
The roof is covered with EDPM rubber roof membrane (25 manufacturers guarantee).
Guttering fitted at the back with downpipe to the ground on one side.
And all this for just under 6k!!!

We can make your shed to fit the space you need!!!
As you can see our customer wanted to fully cover the patio area.
Site visit was crucial to get the right measurements. The manufacture of such a shed would require more time as there is 4 different angles involved in this particular project which obviously affects the price. The patio area is sloping towards the house so we had to level it using legs. The floor frame is made out of pressure-treated 4x2s and covered with 18mm exterior plywood.
This is approximately 12' x 7'6" Pent shed and it would cost around £3000 depending on requirements.

Sometimes it's not about a shed being huge social space, or even being a workshop. Traditionally a shed has just been a storage space for the lawnmower, a couple of garden tools and a kids bike or two.
We make it easy. This is a standard 6ft x 4ft (1.8m x 1.2m) pent roof garden shed installed onto a groundscrew base. Our client didn't have a base, but she didn't want to lay slabs herself. We don't lay slabs onto topsoil, they move!
Instead we instal groundscrews and put a pressure treated floor frame onto them. Perfectly level, perfectly stable, and the whole installation takes less than half a day.
The shed is made from ex16mm thickness, redwood tongue and grooved timber cladding over 45mm x 32mm framework. It's a quality shed, manufactured by us.
The costs?
6 x 4 shed, pent or apex - £753.00
Treated with Barrettines Wood Protective treatment - £81.00
4 groundscrew base with floor frame and 18mm exterior plywood floor - £431.00

The total cost? £1,265.00 including V.A.T, delivery within South Essex, installation, roof felted, window glazed. There are absolutely NO hidden extras!

This was our very first shed this year!
It's a 10' x 6' flat roof shed manufactured using our thicker ex19mm(16mm finish) cladding and 63mm x 38mm CLS framing.
Customer requested 1foot(12 inches) extended roof so we had no issues of making it happen.
The entire structure got lifted off the concrete base by using Ecotiles which prevent the shed from sitting in water when it rains and also expands its life span.
Joinery made doors fitted with a continuous hinge, chrome door handle, and an integral lock/latch installed.
Two keys supplied. 4 semi-framed windows (hockeystick mouldings).
As requested by customer the roof got covered with EDPM rubber roof membrane (25years manufacturers guarantee) instead of roofing felt.
The shed came pre-treated with Barretines Protective Treatment, colour Light Brown.

And ..... rest!
The final job for this year, a 7m x 4m double tongue and grooved "log cabin"
Yes, we know it's not a real log cabin because real log cabins are made from rough hewn trees in wild, rugged countries. This one is in Eltham, South East London which is a tad more civilised!

It's made from 145mm x 45mm double tongue and grooved log section, 5th grade or better Scandinavian Redwood Pine.
Why Redwood?
We use Redwood for all of our cladding, for sheds Summerhouses, or Cabins. Redwood is a lot more dimensional stable than whiteboard or Spruce. It's a far more suitable material to use, but it's also not as cheap.
The doors and windows in this building are White UPVC and have been set into custom built pocket frames. This allows the timber "logs" to move with the seasons.
The Cabin is built onto our eco tiles to keep the floor up off the ground. Eco tiles act as a ventilated damp course, helping to prevent the floor from prematurely decaying.
The Roof is covered with a one-peice EDPM rubber membrane which has a 25 year manufacturer's guarantee.
The finish is two tone, using Protek Royal Exterior in Slate Grey and Anthracite.
