I am the founder of For the Love of Tidying, a wellbeing-focused professional organising business dedicated to helping people reclaim calm, control, and confidence in their homes. Known for my dependable, non-judgemental approach, I bring a sense of ease from the very first conversation — helping clients feel safe, supported, and genuinely “saved” as they take the first steps out of overwhelm. At
the heart of my work is a belief that clutter is rarely about laziness, and far more often about life being full, heavy, or demanding. I am on a mission to remove the shame so many people carry about their homes — replacing guilt with practical support and a renewed sense of possibility. My clients often feel stuck, embarrassed, and unsure where to begin; after working with me, they feel lighter, clearer, and proud of the progress they’ve made. My journey began with my own lived experience. Naturally organised by nature, I found that motherhood shifted everything, and the systems that once felt effortless started to slip into overflowing drawers and daily frustration. In summer 2021, reading The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying sparked a dramatic change — not just in my space, but in my wellbeing. For the first time in a long time, I felt free, energised, and able to make choices that reflected how I wanted to feel. That personal transformation became the spark for the work I now bring to others. Before building For the Love of Tidying full-time, I balanced the early years of my business with a teaching career. After Covid, the stress of teaching intensified and I ultimately left the profession to focus on decluttering and organising — one of the best decisions I have ever made. My experience of stress and anxiety deepened my understanding of how deeply our environments affect our mental wellbeing, and it’s why my work is centred not on perfection, but on peace, function, and emotional safety. What makes me different from other organisers, is that I don’t just transform homes — I transform people. Now four years into business, I have supported nearly 300 in-home clients, grown a Facebook community of over 4,000, built a team of four declutterers, and have run my membership Cluttered to Calm for over two years. I was named Professional Organiser of the Year 2024, have spoken at major London events including the Ideal Home Show and the Clean & Tidy Show, and have been featured across national and local media — including a decluttering segment on BBC Radio 4’s You & Yours and a soon to be shown appearance on TV (more to come later), alongside interviews with multiple local radio stations and newspapers. Across my in-home sessions, online Power Hours, membership, challenges, ebook, and speaking, my mission remains the same: to guide people calmly and compassionately back to control — so they can live with confidence, invite others in without shame, and enjoy life again.
