๐ŸŒปFlower Shed Update๐ŸŒฟ

We're really sorry we've not managed to open the flower shed this year.

We've been so busy with weddings, bouquet orders and our regular subscription flowers that we've simply not had any spare flowers (or time!) to keep the shed stocked.

If you'd would like some flowers, just send us a message on Thursday or first thing Friday morning and we'll cut fresh flowers and put together a market bunch for you which can be collected from the shed on Friday or Saturday.

We do hope to get the shed open again soon, so keep an eye out. We will post on here when we stock it.

Thank you, as always, for supporting our little flower farm. ๐ŸŒธ

The flower field has really changed recently. More colour, more varieties, and so much scent!

We have been sending out lots of gift bouquets and DIY weddings in the last couple of weeks, and have got lots more to come, which is exciting.

Almost all this years seedlings and plants are now in the ground. Onto sowing biennials for next year... it never ends ๐Ÿ˜ ๐ŸŒฟ

'Mother Earth' - Our Installation at Chichester Cathedral Festival of Flowers 2026.

Thank you to Caroline for letting us be part of interpreting your vision of 'Nature's Embrace' for the Festival of Flowers.

And thankyou to all the amazing volunteers and helpers. Their support was incredible and it couldnt be done without them.

We really enjoyed it, and it was great to be giving British Flowers a place on this massive stage, alongside the stunning arrangement in the quire by fellow flower farmers

Hope all those that visited enjoyed the festival!

We've been really busy today!

We are excited to be taking part in Festival of Flowers. Our installation 'Mother Earth' takes inspiration from the root system of a tree, and uses 100% British grown flowers, with the majority from our own little flower farm. As always there is not a block of floral foam in sight, just lots of reusable mechanics and some amazing natural hand dyed silk.

Want to see what all this turned into, why not come visit and take a look at ours and all the other amazing creations. The festival is open Wednesday to Saturday this week.

We had a wonderful day at RHS Chelsea on Saturday and we saw lots of things that inspired and delighted us, but there was one sentence written on the back of the leaflet about the On The Edge garden that really resonated with us.

"To protect what matters, regenerate what's been lost and connect to the places that sustain us all"

This is the journey we are on, the basis on which we run our buisness, all in the hope that we can leave our little piece of this world a better place than we found it.

When gets married and you get to decorate an over 100 year old tractor, it was time to make it feel at home driving through a springtime meadow. ๐Ÿšœ ๐ŸŒผ

Buttercups, ox eye daisies, grasses, cow parsley and a little bunch of foxgloves. All carefully arranged to make it feel as naturalistic as possible.

Do you want something unique or special decorating at your event? Contact us and we can discuss how we can create a little flowery magic.

Spotted all over yesterday, is this beautiful Ranunculus Acris 'Citrinus'

It is the most perfect pale lemony buttercup which we suspect having now been at Chelsea will be trendy and popping up everywhere. ๐Ÿ‹๐ŸŒผ

So we are feeling pretty smug that we sowed seed of this last year and its just starting to flower at the field ready to give a little pop of delicate beauty to our bouquets.

We are your local flower farmers!

We are so excited that this week our trading body are representing us all at RHS Chelsea Flower Show. They are taking a flower farm to Chelsea, showing the whole process from growing through to floristry and we cannot wait to see it in all its glory when we visit on Saturday.

Good luck to all those involved for Judging Day, and thankyou so much for shouting from the roof tops about the value of British Flowers and the community that grow them! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ“ฃ

Now go find your local flower farm and support them, I can guarantee they will be more grateful than any supermarket. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Congratulations Ross and Amy!

Its been an epic weekend flowering the most unique and personal wedding we have ever seen ๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒธ Such an amazing day to have been part of.

So much to show of this one, and as per normal I took so few photos. For now here is the blooming marvellous floral arch!

Can't thank all our local flower farmers enough for being a fantastically supportive bunch and for supplying the best blooms to go alongside oursย
