Visited the huge Kolkata Flower market today - thousands and thousands of roses, garlands, baskets stuffed full of flowers and foliage. The colours and varieties representing the diifferent Gods worshipped in the region. The flowers are transported 100km down the river Ganges every day. It is incredible to see. And not a single flower bucket in sight!!

Another week, another lovely wedding -

Congratulations to Lauren and Kurtis who tied the knot on friday. Loved making these huge white hydrangea designs for the majestic staircase (big thanks to Tod for helping me tie them on securely!) and following through with the same flowers for the beautiful bridal bouquet.

Congratulations to Bethany & Richard who tied the knot at the lovely Highley Manor last weekend. The sun shone and they were able to hold the ceremony outside with this glorious Sussex countryside view! The chair posies with pretty ribbons dancing in the breeze were then brought inside to enjoy for the reception. Classic greens and whites with such attention to detail for the elegant place settings. A real delight to add the table flowers and then to decorate the fabulous wide staircase with eucalyptus, roses and glass jars with (artificial) candles to light the steps later.

Big thanks as always to for beautiful corsages and buttonholes and to all the lovely crew at Highley - such a busy but friendly venue!

Thank you so much to all the lovely couples who came along to our Wedding Venue Open Day! 🥂

We had perfect weather and thoroughly enjoyed showing couples around and are looking forward to hosting celebrations that came from yesterday. 🥰

It was such a joy seeing everyone taking in the views while relaxing on the decking enjoying a glass of sparkling and delicious canapés prepared by our chefs Rina & Jon.

A big shout out to all the TB team who helped make it such a special day 🥰

Proper playing with flowers day today ! Easter table ready with primroses from the garden, hanoi ranunculus, bunny ear napkins with candle gifts eggs, then down to the church to help with end of Lent flowers - lilies at the altar and gorgeous floppy double cream tulips on the font. English tulips in hessian wraps and then a tweak to my Easter wreath made . Pretty jam jars for sale this weekend in the Borde Hill garden shop.
Feet up now, the papers and a nap!
