In just over a couple of weeks I will be at the Victoria Hall in Saltaire for the Saltaire Inspired winter makers fair.
Showcasing makers from across the UK across three rooms, sharing their fresh, contemporary art, craft and design for sale or commission. A carefully curated selection by an independent panel, from a record number of entries.

Sharing pics of my lovely Trixdog who sadly passed away suddenly last Thursday. She was funny, naughty friendly & loving & ever so slightly ridiculous 🤣. She was my little sidekick & will be much missed. She was a great little dog with a big personality.

Ooh not long now! On Saturday (26th Sept) I’ll be in Sheffield for Endless Love Creative - Makers Markets Autumn Makers Fair. I’ll be in great company with lots of wonderful work for sale & exciting creatives.
As you can see I love colour & combine recycled sterling silver, copper, brass & titanium (that wonderful iridescent blue). I am very much a hand maker, sawing & cutting pieces out by hand, soldering, carving & hammering the work.
I also couldn’t resist putting in a pic of Trixie my workshop & general everyday companion!
My workshop is also a my small gallery shop selling lots of other makers’ work as well as my own down the canal towpath in Hebden Bridge.

I sent a lovely big batch of work to Craft Leeds last week with more of my birds & flowers. Here are just a few of them.
Go check them out if you’re in the area. It is such a great gallery full of beautiful treasures. A wonderful selection - prints, jewellery, ceramics, textiles & probably other things I can’t even dream of! Many Yorkshire makers too.
Find them just below the art gallery on the Headrow in Leeds (fairly obvious but you never know sometimes places are not where they seem haha)

We are open for Hebden Bridge Open Studios here Hebble End Works - me & Sophie The Peg Loomer. There’s a right crowd of us in this part of town, with everyone in the Methodist church, Salem Mill & Beehive Mill.

Seeing as I’ve got some new followers I thought I’d put a face to the work & a little bit behind the scenes before I hopefully meet some you next weekend @ for @

I work from a studio shop on the beautiful canal side in Hebden Bridge where I also sell other people’s lovely work too, accompanied by my workshop companion Trixie. (She assists often by barking & hassling me for treats & sleeping ♥️)

All my jewellery is made from recycled silver, titanium (that gorgeous blue) brass & copper - to give a bit of warmth - all inspired by nature & mid century art.

When I’m not at the bench (or doing all the other things you have to do when running a business 😂) I love waking on the moors, dancing, seeing bands & for the last couple of years grandma - img! & kazing in my sofa & eating too much chocolate 😍
