EPISODE 5 — THE TRANSFORMATION IS HAPPENING… 👀🔨

Another week at No. 7 and somehow we’ve managed to create EVEN MORE mess 😂 but there’s some serious progress happening behind it all!

Upstairs the carpets are coming up, the electrics have started ⚡️ and the plasterer has been working his magic on walls and ceilings throughout the flat… although some of the old blown plaster in the lounge decided to save us a job and basically fall off itself 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

Downstairs there’s been LOTS of painting and the shop shelves are finally starting to get their makeover 🎨🌸

Outside has had plenty of attention too! Garden works are underway 🌿 and after a LOT of sanding, the old shopfront has been stripped right back and is ready for its fresh new colour 😍

It still feels like there are a million jobs happening at once, but every week another little piece of our vision starts coming together 🥹🤎

No. 7 is well and truly coming back to life… 🌿☕️💐

EPISODE 4 — OKAY… NOW IT’S ACTUALLY STARTING TO LOOK LIKE SOMETHING 👀🔨

After days of ripping things out, making mess and wondering when we’d actually start seeing some progress… THIS WEEK feels like a turning point 😂🙌🏼

Walls have been knocked down, new walls have gone UP and we’re finally starting to see the layout we’ve had in our heads becoming actual rooms 🥹🤎

This week has involved a bit of everything — building the new bedroom walls, getting door linings in, sanding shelves (and sanding… and sanding 😂), plus one of the decisions we’ve been waiting for… PAINT COLOURS 🎨👀

And yes, choosing paint has somehow been harder than knocking walls down 😂

There’s something so satisfying about getting to this stage. It’s felt like we’ve just been creating more and more mess, but now you can actually walk around and start to imagine what it’s all going to look like when it’s finished 🥹✨

We’ve still got a LOT to do and plenty more dusty days ahead of us 😂 but every wall, doorway and little job is getting us one step closer to opening the doors to Forever Lasting Blooms 🌿☕️💐

And seeing the flat start to take shape at the same time makes it feel even more real!

Episode 5… surely we’re getting to the pretty bits soon?! 😂👀🔨

EPISODE 3 — TRUST THE PROCESS… APPARENTLY 😂🔨

We’ve reached that stage of the renovation where we’re working ALL the time… but somehow it still looks like a building site 🤣

This week has been a bit of everything — prepping, priming, more ripping out and FINALLY getting some plasterboard up! 🙌🏼

It might not be the prettiest stage, but it’s so nice to finally see things going back IN rather than everything coming OUT 😂👏🏼

We also have to say how incredibly lucky we are to have such amazing friends & family around us who have given up their time to come and help us 🥹🤎 We genuinely couldn’t do it all without them!

And all the lovely messages, comments and excitement we’ve received from everyone following along have honestly been so lovely to read. It makes us even more excited to show you what we’re creating 🥹✨ We really are very lucky!

There’s still a LONG way to go, plenty more dust and probably a few more “what have we got ourselves into?!” moments 😂… but little by little, it’s getting there!

Episode 4… let’s see how much more we can get done 👀🔨

This episode is where the renovation REALLY starts… and let’s just say it hasn’t exactly gone to plan! 😂

We’ve got BIG plans for this space, but before we can make it beautiful, there’s a LOT of work to get through first! 🛠️

Come along with us as we turn this tired old space into our dream shop, coffee shop & workshop… and eventually a beautiful flat upstairs! 🤎

If you think episode 2 is chaotic… just wait until you see what’s coming 👀😂

We’re so excited to share the whole renovation journey with you — the good, the bad, the chaos, the transformations and hopefully the finished result! 🥹

This is Episode 1… and we can’t wait to show you what happens next! 🤎

Follow along and watch our little dream space come to life! ☕️🌿🏡

Polly & Liam

I cannot recommend Forever Lasting Blooms enough. I have been singing Ellie’s praises to all my friends and family: she is an extremely talented florist; she is warm, personable and kind; she communicates brilliantly; she listens and understands her clients so well; she works incredibly hard. It doesn’t just feel like you’re paying for a service because Ellie brings so much passion and love behind the flower arrangements she makes.

When we first went to enquire about flowers for our wedding, Ellie was instantly warm and personable. As we described our ideas and vision for our wedding flowers, she listened and understood, creating a mock-up mini arrangement that was perfect and completely matched our vision (in fact, went beyond what we could imagine!).

We completely trusted Ellie and she created stunning flowers for our wedding, made with such care and love, executing our vision perfectly. Throughout the process, she communicated so well with us, touching base with update pictures. We had a bridal bouquet, an assortment of bud vases, button-holes/corsages, and chair backs. There was variety among them, but they worked together beautifully as a united group.

Would highly recommend these dried/preserved flowers for events as they are as beautiful as fresh ones (in my opinion, more beautiful!) and they can be kept as keepsakes/gifted to family members and friends.

You will not be disappointed using Forever Lasting Blooms.

It was such an honour to be trusted to create these beautiful floral tributes for the celebration of the life of Allan Pelling. 🕊️💙

A much-loved Dad, Brother, Husband, Grandad and Friend to so many. Allan touched the lives of everyone who knew him and will be deeply missed by all. 🤍

It was a privilege to create these personalised tributes, including a bespoke DAD tribute and coffin spray, designed to reflect his love of motorcycles and celebrate the life he lived. 🏍️💙

At Forever Lasting Blooms, we pride ourselves on creating meaningful, personal funeral tributes that honour every life with the love, care and attention they deserve. Sending all our love and heartfelt condolences to Allan’s family and friends at this difficult time. 🤍🕊️
