Our Story

Rose-May is an independent small business based in Helmsley, North Yorkshire. All our products are handmade by us, using traditional techniques and vintage singer sewing machines. We show support to other local independents with our buttons being handmade by local ceramist, and our boxes being made by a local paper crafter. Our lavender is also locally grown.

Our products range in styles from traditional to modern and contemporary. But each one will be high quality and available at low prices by being sold directly to the public. These products could be bought from our website or you could see us at craft and gift fairs, which we travel all around the country to attend.

We each have our own specialities to provide to the business that helps us work together. From packing the products, keeping the sewing machines working, to setting up the stand at fairs. We take inspiration from each other to produce products that are unique to us.
