I have some exciting news from my cosy little nook in Cornwall...my business cards have arrived!

Between nap times, snack times and endless cuddles, I stitch together soft baby blankets and tiny snuggly treasures - each one made lovingly and with a cup of tea always close by ☕🍪

As a lifelong animal lover, I’m proud to support a cause that means so much to me. Every stitch I make carries a bit of love - not just for the little ones who receive these tiny treasures, but also for the animals who have always been part of my world.

Baby Lo is asleep (for now 🤫), the kettle’s been boiled again, and I’ve snuck in a few quiet rows on this squishy blanket 💕

I’m not quite at the selling stage yet...just slowly building up a little stash of handmade snuggly goodness during naps and night feeds. It’s a one-mama operation powered by tea, a lot of yarn, and a biscuit or two ☕🍪

🧶 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 🧵🪡

Hi, I’m Kim - the tea sipping, wave chasing, blanket making Cornish lass behind Wool and Bear.

I live in beautiful Cornwall with my husband, our daughter Elowen, and our very fluffy (and very handsome) cat, Bear – who also happens to be the namesake of this little shop 🐾

Wool and Bear was born out of a love for all things cosy and handmade. I learned to knit over 20 years ago (thanks, Mum!) and rediscovered my passion for crafting during the pandemic when I picked up a crochet hook, and never put it down. What started as a creative escape soon blossomed into the dream of running a small business from home, all while raising our little girl.

Each blanket and snuggly treasure is handmade with care, love, and a sprinkle of Cornish magic...perfect for tiny toes and sleepy cuddles 👣

When I’m not crafting, you’ll find me by the sea, coffee in one hand, yarn in the other (and probably a slice of gluten-free cake nearby).
