At home with Sarah ✨

Sarah visited my stand at Sennen Market in the Summer and treated herself to this fabulous vintage lamp. She adorned it when she arrived home with an Emporium of Illumination lampshade which she treated herself to the previous Summer.

✨ Little Lantern Making Workshop ✨

I am SUPER excited to share that Emporium of Illumination and Melanie Young Artist are collaborating to offer you a fabulous creative workshop this September!

Spend two hours in the gorgeous Trevow Helston creating your own Little Lantern to take home. Everything that you will need to create your own illumination will be provided (including fairy lights) plus creative inspiration all fuelled by tea and biscuits. What a perfect way to spend an Autumn afternoon! Note: This workshop is aimed at adults.

✨ Date: Saturday 26th September
✨ Time: 2pm - 4pm
✨ Venue: Trevow Chapel, Meneage Rd, Helston TR13 8BH
✨ Cost: £25 per place (all materials and refreshments included)

On September 1st Emporium of Illumination turns 13 and this lampshade is where it all began!

I love that I own the very first of the thousands of lampshades that I have now made and that illuminate homes across the globe ✨ When I made this lampshade in 2013, I didn't foresee what an incredible adventure lay ahead. I have made dear friends and met SO many lovely people along the way. I really am so grateful for every single person that has been a part of the past 13 years of Emporium of Illumination and for all of the illuminated love!

This week two of her ‘Winter’ designs will be heading off to a new home. The colour palette of this design is gorgeous!

Elizabeth found ‘the lampshade of her dreams’ for her bedroom at Sennen Market perhaps you could too! ✨

Find me upstairs illuminating the balcony for just two more weeks! There will be a whole selection of lampshades, Little Lanterns and upcycled vintage lamp bases to tempt you! ✨

The Market is open every Tuesday, 9.30am - 12.30pm hosted in Sennen Community Centre. It is most definitely worth a visit to support the wonderful makers and producers that fill the Community Centre come rain or sunshine!
