🍅 Think it’s time to start making some sauces! 😄

The tomatoes are coming in thick and fast now, so we’d better start turning some of them into homemade sauces for dinners before we’re completely overrun. 🌿🍝

🥒 These cucamelons are such a tasty little snack!

We’ve been eating them straight from the plant, but we’re wondering what else people use them for.

Has anyone tried pickling them, adding them to salads, making chutney, or something completely different? We’d love some ideas before we eat the whole lot as snacks! 😂🌱

🐝 Love seeing the pollen baskets on the honey bees’ legs — a sure sign they’ve been hard at work collecting pollen for the hive.

🥕🌽🫑 A few bits from the garden for dinner tonight!

There’s something so satisfying about heading outside, picking what’s ready and bringing it straight into the kitchen.

Tonight’s little harvest includes carrots, sweetcorn and peppers — all homegrown and ready to enjoy. 🌱

🐝 A question for the experienced beekeepers!

We only started building up our hive in April this year, so we’re still very new to it all and learning as we go.

Would it be possible to take a small amount of honey from the hive this year, or is it better to leave everything with the bees and wait until next year?

We’d really appreciate hearing what others would recommend. 🍯🐝

🦋 Has anyone else spotted these recently?

We’ve been seeing these little chrysalis pods on some nettles, after noticing quite a few black caterpillars feeding on them beforehand. 🌿🐛

It’s been really interesting watching the different stages appear, and we’re curious to know if anyone else has seen lots of these around lately?
