There was a comment on one of my adverts a few weeks ago about my photos and how ‘things are always photographed to make them look bigger than they are’. So I thought I’d share a picture of my set up whilst I’ve been photographing all the Autumn and Halloween bits.
It’s very basic. A pine chest, brown bottle with rice lights and two of the orange pumpkin garlands. I don’t have any snazzy equipment and just use the camera on my phone. Lighting is really hard as shadows really darken things and can ruin a photo if it’s not spot on.
I try really, really hard to produce images that are a true representation of what you will receive. Good angles to show key features and detailing but also trying to make sure the colours match the actual product. They’re not show-stopping photos, but my god have they come a long way from when I started this!
If in doubt always check the description- I include full dimensions with every product.

This should have been posted a couple of weeks ago, but it’s been a busy, busy time!!

I’ve had two deliveries of Autumn and Halloween decorations now and every item has been REALLY popular! The felt characters and artisan ranges have gone down exceptionally well and I’m running a five for four offer on felt too.

Believe it or not, I ordered my 2026 Christmas range at the start of December 2025 and then topped up again in February- crazily early!!! There were a few things to sort out whilst I was ordering spring and summer 2027 a few weeks back, up some quantities and double check some lines for sets I’m making up. Christmas starts arriving here in September and all being well, it’ll be online from October.

I ordered this years Halloween and Autumn ranges at the beginning of February, but there was a few loose ends that needed tidying up last week. A few more plush characters, some missing pumpkinny things and sorting our lil free gifts for cosy season 🤭

Yes, that is correct, prepping for Spring, Summer AND Easter 2027!! A year ahead seems excessive, but, it does mean I am guaranteed to get all the best new and cute things I want. I headed up to the showroom in Birmingham last week, and here’s a sneak peak of what’s to come. Look at that CUTE chicken pot!! 🐔

June hasn’t been a month to remember so far! I’ll explain more later on. But strangely, a single raven appeared. A friend said ‘that’s meant to signify something- I’m sure!’ So I researched… folklore says a single raven comes to bring news and change is on the horizon.

Last weekend the hairdressers came to give the ladies their summer trim, they’ll be very appreciative come next weeks forecast!
There’s no money in their fleeces 😔 but customers from the cafe do buy the fleeces from us to use for slug protection, w**d surpressing and insulation in the garden. It’s so soft!!!
