On my list of 2025 goals was a Solo adventure so I packed my bags and went to Betws y Coed in the stunningly beautiful north Wales.
Betsy as I lovingly call her did not dissapoint and I can't wait to return.
But the biggest goal for me still loomed...Snowdon...Solo!
Off I set 8am last Wednesday in rain and fog which only got worse as the Summit neared. I thought about turning back at one point when visibility worsened but I couldn't go that far and not complete it.
The feeling I had at the top was immense and my face hurt from smiling. The sun came out as I descended.. of course, but its a memory that i will always cherish come rain or shine.
I'm incredibly proud for having faced my fears when it would have been easier to say 'oh the weather is bad, I'll do it another day'.

I think it will always be a personal reminder that no matter how nervous or scared I am, I can do anything and will💪
Apart from Crib Goch... I ain't doing that😂
