Can’t believe it’s been a whole week since Lauren and Luke tied the knot 💒 💍

Lauren came to me with her dress. I altered the straps to fit, adjusted the bodice for a more flattering fit, hemmed the dress and added a bustle for her. 👰‍♀️

A client came to me with this dress after a previous seamstress had added eyelets to the back. Unfortunately, no tie had been provided to lace the dress up, and the eyelets themselves had a sharp finish that was scratching the client’s back.

I removed the eyelets and replaced them with fabric loops, then created a matching fabric tie to lace up the dress properly. I also added a modesty panel to the back for extra comfort and coverage.

Safe to say, I had one very happy client, and I hope she gets plenty more wear out of this dress now.
