Carolyn Epps from Briggsy's Emporium in Herne Bay is backing East Kent Mind's campaign to encourage positive conversations around mental health.

Mental Health Awareness Week runs from 11-17 May and East Kent Mind is using this week to promote its services to reach out to support more people locally - and to connect with potential supporters.

You can help the charity this week by staging your own photo - simply wear anything blue in your wardrobe and take a group selfie at work or home and post on your social media. Don't forget to tag in and use the hashtag. Help us to break the stigma around mental health and su***de.

Planning on supporting East Kent Mind - why not also stage a Bake It Blue event and raise funds by selling cakes and treats to friends?

East Kent Mind works with Revival Food and Mood to deliver mental health support.
