Zephy 12/12/25 ❤️‍🔥

We never expected a baby of ours to make it to the party on time and we always knew they wouldn’t arrive without a proper song n dance either… so 2 weeks fashionably late, after 4 days of hell at the hospital and an emergency c-section later our little girl ZeZe finally arrived 💥

Here’s another house in Crouch End that’s slowly getting Rocket’d out top to bottom.

We love coming back to long term clients and slowly turning their houses into a big walk-in portfolio, but nothing makes us happier than when we’re told: ‘I’ve picked a colour but I don’t know if it’s a bit much’… because we can almost guarantee that we won’t think it will be.

What do you think, too much or just enough?

A major overhaul of the centuries old woodwork, a zhuzh up of the weird little cupboard, a light sash window restoration, a bit of wall skimming and ta-da… a new colour to the collection and a notch off our to-do list 🫡

Plastered by a complete buffoon 🤡 but decorated by champions 🏆

This all may look like a pretty straightforward throw-down for rockstars like us but as usual it was far from easy thanks to a plasterer who seemingly mistook one of his work boots for a finishing trowel.

Luckily for our clients we have all the right gear and half an idea… so the wally plasterer was sent back to the circus and the wonky plaster was straightened out in no time.

Of course we’d of happily painted this front door in Wimborne White like the rest of the woodwork but when an opportunity arises for us to have some creative influence, we’ll grab it with both hands.

So when I casually floated the idea of adding a twist to this sophisticated entrance hall and making the period front door and surround stand out a little bit more by painting it an entirely different colour; our clients eyes lit up 🤩

Their immediate reaction was to suggest the same green as their kitchen island… and we ran with it.

Green Smoke provides a bold contrast to the clean combination of muted green and off white and ties in seamlessly with the with the expansive kitchen area.

We set about rapidly restoring the door to sign off the project and give the already flawless hall, stairs and landings a little bit more je ne sais quoi.
