An exceptionally fine marble group of Bacchus and Ariadne, attributed to Carlo Albacini and carved in Rome circa 1800 - https://www.lovedayantiques.co.uk/product/378/fine-italian-early-19th-century-marble-group-of-bacchus-and-ariadne-after-the-antique-attributed-to-carlo-albacini-c/

Capturing the beginning of Bacchus’ courtship of Ariadne, the sculpture beautifully conveys a sense of movement, intimacy, and connection through flowing drapery, exchanged glances, and a gentle embrace.

Inspired by a celebrated classical original and executed with remarkable skill, this is a superb example of Neoclassical sculpture, combining the grandeur of antiquity with a softer, more romantic sensibility.

A rare and highly decorative work by one of the leading sculptors of the Grand Tour era.

A wonderful contemporary copper Lionfish sculpture by Tony Evans, mounted on a limestone plinth that beautifully evokes the texture and contrast of the seabed below - https://www.lovedayantiques.co.uk/product/493/contemporary-modern-art-copper-lionfish-sculpture-by-tony-evans/

Captured in motion as it dives gracefully downwards, the sculpture is full of life and energy, a perfect example of Evans’ remarkable ability to convey movement, colour, and texture through copper alone. Using a combination of matt and polished surfaces, fretted detailing, and applied highlights, the piece shifts constantly in the light, revealing new details from every angle.

A member of the Association of Animal Artists, Evans only turned to sculpture later in life, yet his work has since found homes in important private and corporate collections, including commissions for Cherie Blair and Lever Fabergé.

A rare and exceptional pair of mid-century hand-blown glass chandeliers designed by Flavio Poli for Seguso, Murano, Italy, circa 1955.

Of elegant vase form, each chandelier features a metal frame housing the light fittings, surrounded by a constellation of individually hand-blown glass elements that attach to the structure and to one another, forming organic, sculptural shapes that appear to float in space. The effect is striking both when illuminated and in daylight, when the glass takes on a soft, coral-like presence.

Designed by one of the most influential Italian glass designers of the 20th century, Flavio Poli, these chandeliers exemplify the virtuosity of Murano craftsmanship. Each glass element is blown by hand into moulds, with surface patterning created directly from the mould itself, ensuring consistency and exceptional light play throughout.
Originally produced in both coloured sommerso glass and crystal, this design became one of Seguso’s most iconic and enduring forms, still produced in modern variations today.

Striking in scale and detail, the piece is finished in embossed parchment with a gilt diamond trellis design and centred by a dramatic bronze faun’s head mount, which serves as both focal point and door handle.
Raised on elegant turned sycamore legs with gilt bronze collars and toupie feet, it perfectly captures Jallot’s mastery of modernist form and luxurious decorative detail.
