✨ C O L O U R C L A R I T Y I S L I V E✨

This returning client wanted more flow between her little girl’s room and the existing purple built-ins. With the sloped ceiling, the room felt a bit uneven. After delving into how she wanted the space to feel, her preferences and orientation of the space, I chose a soft pink from my faves called ‘Granny Chic’ and drenched the whole room! The result? The edges blur, the room feels balanced, and the pink’s grey undertone works beautifully with the muted purples making them feel like they were meant to be! It has that cosy, warm hug feeling while still giving a playful “little girl” vibe 💕

Wandering through Šibenik’s old town feels like stepping onto a movie set – and technically, it is! Parts of Game of Thrones were filmed right here, with its winding cobbled streets, stone staircases and jaw-dropping medieval architecture.

I couldn’t stop snapping doors… from grand arched beauties carved with incredible detail, to weathered wooden panels splashed with graffiti and layers of history. Each one tells its own story.

It’s not just the architecture that’s inspiring, it’s the feeling – textured stone, faded pastels, warm terracotta rooftops and sunlit courtyards around every corner.

Last week’s client meeting at the stunning was a dreamy one — I brought my full colour toolkit along and made sure I hung around after to check out the beautiful gardens! 🪻🪻🪻

The space is currently grey, cold and doesn’t feel restful — but not for long! This concept brings in soft plaster pinks to add instant warmth, even without direct sunlight, creating a cosy retreat to escape the chaos and truly unwind.

The brief? Modern traditional. That means celebrating timeless elements like oak furniture, rich fabrics and beautiful haberdashery trims, while adding a modern twist with fun prints and statement lighting. Classic, but make it current 💁🏼‍♀️

Hey lovely people! 👋

Ever wondered how a design concept comes to life? ✨

Our master bedroom has been living in the land of greys. While grey can be elegant (although I will always try to talk you out of it! 🤣), I’ve learned through colour theory that too much of it can feel… well, a bit gloomy. It’s time for a change!

I paused and asked myself: How do I want our bedroom to FEEL? The answer? Cosy, relaxed, safe, warm - like a big hug. 💗

These feelings led me straight to the world of warm plaster pinks. Think soft, earthy tones that wrap you up in comfort. It’s amazing how colour can influence our emotions and create a sanctuary.

Yellow can spark joy, boost creativity, and create a real sense of warmth and optimism. It’s brilliant in kitchens, hallways, studies or even as a pop in a playroom or reading nook!

Here are some of my favourite shades for your home -

1 Florence by Edward Bulmer – A sunny, creamy yellow, reminiscent of spring! A colour to make you smile!

2 Sunlight by Little Greene – This one literally brings sunshine indoors, ideal for making north-facing rooms feel brighter with its golden undertone!

It’s giving morning sunshine ☀️daffodils in bloom 🌼 & that carefree, happy feeling. A colour that just feels like joy 💛

Even Pantone have their own version, aptly named after Drew Barrymore, who completely embodies yellow—radiant, playful, and full of positivity!
