The Train Lights switch-on at 7pm Saturday 6th December.

There will be:

Mulled wine 🍷
Hot Chocolate ☕️🍫
Mince Pies 🥧
Cakes 🧁

Train 🚂
Snow ❄️
Music 🎶
Great atmosphere

There may Possibly be a few fireworks if we can source some that are quite and not going to scare any dogs that live close by.

All of the above will be limited so will be served on a first come first served basis.

The weekend is almost upon us.

Just a reminder we will be raising and collecting donations for our chosen charity this year. Hearing Dogs for the Deaf. We will have a card machine aswell and collecting cash donations. Any donations no matter how small all helps go towards the wonderful charity.

The Polar Express is coming to 1 Bank Street! 🚂❄️ Join us for our magical Christmas light switch-on, Saturday 6th December at 7pm!

My dad and I are excited to announce that The Polar Express will be arriving on Bank Street this Christmas! We’ve been busy starting the building our festive display and can’t wait to share the magic with you.

This year, we’ll also be raising money for our chosen charity, Hearing Dogs, and every donation—big or small—will help make a difference. 🐶🐾

Thank you to everyone who participated in our drawing competition by creating a masterpiece inspired by your favorite scenes from The Grinch movie. All the entries were incredible, making it tough to decide. To make the selection process fair, I consulted with eight friends and based my final choice on the majority of their votes.

Ho, ho, ho! Or should I say, Bah, humbug! It's your favorite green grouch here yes, the Grinch! As much as I might grumble about all this Christmas fuss, I can’t help but feel a little excitement brewing… perhaps my heart has grown a few sizes after all!

Nathan, Andy, and I are absolutely looking forward to seeing each of you as we come together to celebrate the spirit of Christmas. I may not be the biggest fan of Christmas, but the warmth of friendship is something even my little Grinch heart can appreciate!

Our lights will stay illuminate from Friday, 6th to Thursday 2nd January 2025. They will switch on from 4pm until 11pm. I hope many of you will come by to bask in the glow and maybe even catch a little bit of that Christmas spirit.
We wish you all a very happy holiday season! May your days be bright, your hearts be light, and your Christmases be merry!

Drawing competition. There will be 3 winners and each will receive a little gift. Draw your favourite part from any of the grinch movies. Once you've completed your drawing you can either post your picture in our green donation box by our stairs or if you don't live close by send us a photo here on our Bank Street page.

Competition will start from Friday 6th to Thursday 19th December. Winners will be announced on Friday the 20th December. Please write your name your age and an adults contact number on the back of the paper. We've limited the age from 1 to 11.

Charity 2024

This year our chosen charity is Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care. At Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care, they provide patient-centred palliative care and bereavement support for all those who need it in Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. We have currently raised £605 towards Great Ormond Street Hospital. We have another week to keep raising more money to go towards the charity.

Let's help these sick/ill children get the treatment they need so they can be back home playing with friends again.
