If the frames are sound, problems like misted glass, draughts, stiff handles or faulty locks can often be repaired without replacing the whole window.

That can mean less expense, less disruption and windows that work properly again, while keeping your existing frames.

At The Window Doctor, we’ll identify the fault, explain your options and give you honest advice on whether a repair is worthwhile. We won’t recommend replacing a whole window when a repair could solve the problem.

Opened the curtains to this again? 💧

With colder nights and the heating back on, steamed-up windows are a familiar sight in the morning.

Condensation on the inside surface of the glass is often caused by moisture in your home meeting the cold window. Using extractor fans, keeping trickle vents open and allowing air to circulate can help reduce it.

But if the misting is trapped between the panes and won’t wipe away, it could mean the seal on your glass unit has failed.

That’s where we can help. At The Window Doctor, we can replace the failed glass unit without replacing the whole window, giving you a clear view again.
