On bbc breakfast tv this morning it said that the votes for Britain’s favourite butterfly was the peacock butterfly and on the 17th July it is the big butterfly count. 🦋

My painted postcard entry for an ever-growing gallery of artists from around the globe now on the website of

This painting is now alongside other artists in the digital art mail global gallery, with a selection being shown in exhibitions in London & New York.
After the exhibitions, postcards will be sold in support of Hospital Rooms, their charity partner bringing artist-designed, therapeutic environments to mental health wards across the UK.
A curated selection of postcards will be exhibited in New York and London, in a physical celebration of the Art Mail artist community.

Original hand painted Oil painting, yellow butterfly crimson wall flower, size approximately 30cm x 23cm x 1.5cm. This stretched canvas would not need a frame it could balance straight onto a nail in the wall. (Or you could add your own hanging fixings).

The David Attenborough art exhibition in Burbage today, I submitted “Looking up” lion large watercolour painting to be exhibited. My four year old dog goes everywhere with me, even to view exhibitions. I bought a yummy chocolate cake while there. It’s on from 10am until 4pm today, opposite the Burbage library.
